Vision Statement:

Providing a Positive Environment to Promote Positive Change

Mission Statement:

To provide alternative sentencing options to the Courts, keeping offenders in the community where they may receive needed treatment and research-based programming, therefore making the community safer and reducing the risk of recidivism.

Purpose:

GCCC provides alternative sentencing options to Greene County offenders and state inmates who are transitioning back into the community. GCCC provides offenders with a structured, clean, and sober environment that supports and guides transition back into the community.  Participation in the program is a privilege, not a right, which has been afforded as an alternative to traditional incarceration.  Participants in the program have an opportunity to demonstrate responsibility and begin to take control over their lives. GCCC provides the structure for choices that can result in positive change and serve as a stepping-stone to integration into the community.
